We're looking for Support Workers to join us at Westholme based in Moseley, Birmingham. Westholme supports people with learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

Westholme is a spacious, calm environment where individuals with complex needs can find their own identity and develop confidence. Offering a bespoke specialised service for up to 13 individuals, who have an acquired brain injury or learning disability and are looking to improve their independence within a supported environment.

The role of a Support Worker is to enable the people we support to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives in a way which maximises independence and choice. As a Support Worker you will work with personalised support plans to ensure that all care and support is provided in line with the wishes of the individual and in line with both organisational and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.

The Tracscare Group provides support to individuals across the UK with complex and challenging needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, Autism and dual diagnosis in residential homes and Supported Living services across England and Wales.

Working for Tracscare is far from a 9 to 5 job. Every day brings new opportunities, new ideas and new challenges. Our support workers enjoy promoting independence and participation in activities, encouraging inclusion for the people we support and helping to rebuild key skills.

Support work is varied and challenging – and there’s no denying, it can be tough. But as well as having hard days, it is intensely rewarding and enjoyable.

  • Working to rehabilitate people so that they can engage, enjoy and thrive in society
  • Supporting someone physically or emotionally, helping to reintroduce lost skills as a result of illness, accident or disability

We are looking for someone who

  • Can be flexible regarding the needs of our clients, as we provide 24-hour care
  • Is willing to undertake training for professional development (No experience is required as all training is provided)
  • Has a good sense of humour and is empathetic, hardworking and with a sense of responsibility.
  • Is honest, dependable and dedicate
